Enrico La Bianca X Passaggi: presentation of the photography exhibition "Il circo delle sardine"
On Wednesday 10 June at 20:30, at Ottagono in Mascalucia, Passaggi presents a new event dedicated to the meeting of artistic languages.
The guest of the evening will be the photographer Enrico La Bianca, author of an original and poetic visual exploration collected in the project "Il Circo delle Sardine" (The Sardine Circus). Through images and stories, La Bianca leads the audience into a universe suspended between reality and imagination, where apparently ordinary elements become tools for reflecting on beauty, identity and our relationship with the world.
La Bianca's photography stands out for its ability to turn the everyday into metaphor and story. His "sardines" are not simply photographic subjects, but characters in a narrative that invites us to look beyond appearances and rediscover wonder and amazement.
During the evening, the book "Nero come il silenzio" (Black as Silence), written by Giuseppe Reina and Riccardo Renda and published by Algra Editore, will also be presented. The book offers a further opportunity for discussion on the theme of memory and storytelling, with food for thought that ideally engages with the artistic exploration presented by Enrico La Bianca.
The event will be moderated by Prof. Alessandro Salerno, teacher and writer, coordinator of the Passaggi – Chiamata alle Arti (Call to the Arts) project, who will guide the dialogue between the guests and the audience, encouraging an open discussion on art, photography and writing.
The initiative is part of the cultural programme that for years has been creating opportunities for artists, authors and the public to meet.
During the event, an aperitivo will be offered by Bar Ottagono, to share a convivial, informal moment with the evening's guests.
Admission is free.
