Sicilia PGI is an intensely fruity extra virgin olive oil, certified by MIPAAFT (the Italian Ministry of Agriculture).
From 100% Sicilian olives
Made from Sicilian blends that give it a perfect balance of bitterness and pepperiness, Frantoio Scalia’s Sicilia PGI extra virgin olive oil is produced in October from a blend of Sicilian olives, hand-picked and milled on the same day using cold extraction.
Pairings
Sicilia PGI is delicious on soups, bruschetta and cooked vegetables. Ideal used raw, it also adds a special touch to meat and salads.
On the nose, aromas of fresh grass, artichoke and green tomato prevail, with occasional hints of aromatic herbs.
