A creamy, pleasantly sweet liqueur with a moderate alcohol content and an intense pistachio aroma. Pistachios come from a plant native to the Middle East that grows wild and luxuriant on the slopes of Etna, Sicily's great volcano, and have always been prized for their nutritional properties. Traditional refining of Sicilian pistachios alone produces a paste that keeps all the precious organoleptic qualities of the nut intact. Skilfully blending this paste with alcohol, water and sugar gives a creamy, rounded, enveloping liqueur with an intense, heady aroma of Sicilian pistachios. The addition of grappa gives the liqueur a finishing touch and an unmistakable aromatic character.
