Aurum extra virgin olive oil
Aurum is an intensely fruity extra virgin olive oil with a bold flavour.
Made from 100% Sicilian olives. It is obtained from Sicilian blends that give Frantoio Scalia oil a perfect balance of bitterness and pepperiness, along with aroma and taste characteristics typical of Sicily. It is produced in October from green olives of the Cerasuola and Nocellara dellโEtna cultivars, hand-picked and milled on the same day using cold extraction.
Pairings
Aurum is delicious on pulse soups and all kinds of vegetables. Ideal used raw, it also adds a special touch to meat and bruschetta.
On the nose, aromas of fresh grass, artichoke and green tomato prevail, with occasional hints of aromatic herbs.
